Terms & Conditions

1. Registration & Payment

  • All clients must complete our registration form before the first session.
  • Fees must be paid in advance or at session time (BACS or cash).
  • Please arrive punctually; late arrival does not extend the session duration.

2. Clothing & Etiquette

  • Wear comfortable, non-restrictive activewear that allows movement.
  • Layers are recommended due to venue temperature variances.
  • Non-slip socks preferred.
  • Keep phones on silent or vibrate to avoid interruptions.

3. Late Arrival & No-Show Policy

  • If late (more than 15 minutes), you may be denied entry and marked as a cancellation.
  • Cancellations made with less than 24 hours’ notice incur full-session charge.
  • “No show” = full-session charge.
  • For bookings of multiple sessions (terms):
    • Cancellations >24 hours in advance may be rebooked (subject to availability)
    • Rebooked sessions may be at different venues

4. Class Cancellation by Instructor

If a class must be cancelled due to illness, venue issues, or force majeure, you will not be charged, and we will endeavour to reschedule or offer an alternative.

5. Online Classes Specifics

  • Online sessions lack physical correction; ensure you have completed one full term or two private sessions before enrolling.
  • You participate at your own discretion; ensure your space is safe and clear.

6. Liability & Health Disclaimer

  • Pilates sessions are not medical treatment.
  • If you have medical conditions, injuries, or concerns, obtain clearance from a medical professional before participating.
  • You accept responsibility for your body’s limits. Square One Pilates and its instructors are not liable for injury if you ignored medical advice.

7. Equipment & Lost Property

  • You’re responsible for your own belongings.
  • Each venue has its own lost property policy.
  • Square One Pilates disclaims responsibility for lost or damaged property.

8. Privacy & GDPR

This is tied to our Privacy Policy. By participating, you agree to how we collect, store, and use your data as set out in the Privacy Policy.

9. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales.
Any disputes arise in the local court jurisdiction relevant to Square One Pilates.

10. Changes to Terms

We may revise these terms periodically.
